During the Trump presidency, Protect Democracy emerged as one of the most important cross-ideological organizations dedicated to protecting our democratic values and institutions. Beau Tremitiere helps lead Protect Democracy projects on political extremism and authoritarianism, including litigation and advocacy to facilitate proportional representation and fusion voting. Join professors Olatunde Johnson and David Pozen as they hold a conversation with Tremitiere about the work of his organization, the challenges facing American democracy, and the promise and peril of constitutional amendment as a tool for meeting these challenges.
